Easy Crochet Cup Cozy

Pattern By: Aunt Kays Handmades

Great way on a warm day to keep those cold drinks from sweating all over your table and hands. Make this for yourself or make more and personalize for your guest drinks at your next party. This little crochet cozy fits most 12-16 oz cans and bottles. Add a different charm for each guest or embellish to match the theme of your party. Want a red solo cup cozy just make yours in red and make the last round in white and do the crab stitch instead of the Picot st.

Round 18: ch1, sc in same st, *make a picot (ch3, sl st at the base of the ch3), sc in next 2 st* repeat from *to* around, sl st with the first sc you made. Fasten off and hide all loose tails.

You can make this in one solid color or striped like I made mine. If you choose to do stripes you can do so like this, work one color for the first 6 Rounds, then join a second color and work 2 rounds, repeat that 2 round color change for your striped pattern. No need to fasten off for each color change just carry up the yarn as you go. Fasten off and hide loose tails and your done.

I added a handmade charm that I made mine from polymer clay. You can find many on Etsy if you don’t want to make one yourself. Enjoy!!
